Nissan introduced their futuristic concept car, the Teatro For Dayz, at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show Thursday, according to the Daily Mail.

The 44th annual Tokyo Motor Show's theme this year was "Your heart will race," the organization said in a press release. Aiming to become the number one technology motor exhibition, the show featured futuristic concept cars for commercial and personal use.

Among the featured concept cars, Nissan's Teatro For Dayz showcased a luxury living room on wheels with a wrap-around LED screen.

Desginer Satoru Tai re-imagined the minivan as a "blank canvas" for "digital natives" to express themselves on, reported Engadget. The interior has customizable displays for "share natives" of the selfie generation, Tai said.

Hidemi Sasaki, Nissan's product planning general manager, said that sharing is an important concept to digital natives, according to Auto Evolution

"Share natives feel that time spent in a car should be time for connecting and sharing experiences with friends. We can no longer attract their attention with the same old values," Sasaki said.

Nissan created a connected car with a touchscreen for the plain white dashboard, the Daily Mail noted. The car's interior can change every day, depending on the owner's mood or the season.

"When the car is in drive mode, metres, controls and maps appear on a pure white instrument panel. When parked, it transforms to an entirely new device," Sasaki said. "Share natives will use cars in ways we would never imagine."

The digital sharing generation "want a car to be a versatile tool for creativity like a smartphone. This is different from customizing a car. It's more like the ability to modify a car to meet their mood at the moment," Sasaki added.

Another concept car that made its debut at the auto show was Mercedes-Benz's Vision Tokyo, which possesses self-driving capabilities and is designed to provide a "luxury movable living room," according to the Daily Mail.

"The Mercedes-Benz Vision Tokyo embodies the concept of an automotive lounge for a future generation of megacities," said Gorden Wagener, head of design at Daimler AG.

"The Vision Tokyo is our tailor-made product for young people in megacities," Wagener added.

Nissan's Teatro For Dayz will be on display at the Tokyo Motor Show until Sunday, Nov. 8 at Tokyo Big Sight In Ariake, Kotu-ku, Tokyo.
