An all electric Aston Martin Rapide is under development, CEO Andy Palmer revealed in a London interview, according to Live Trading News.

The British luxury car company tentatively plans to release the electric Rapide sometime in late 2017, reported CarScoops Magazine.

The announced comes shortly after the 102-year-old car maker unveiled the Aston Martin DB10, James Bond's new car in "Spectre," for film fans.

While the DB10 is currently not for sale, Aston Martin enthusiasts can look forward to the all-electric Rapide S with the expected price tag of $250,000. The current Rapide is priced at $200,000 in the U.S.

Palmer confirmed earlier this year that his engineers were creating an all-electric version of the four-door Rapide to be released in two years, which would be followed by the release of an all-electric version of the DBX crossover by 2020, noted Automotive News.

Fans can look forward to a few features like all-wheel drive, 800 hp and a 200-mile range.

The move presents the chance of 007 going all-electric in the future.
