Zero Motorcycles announced Tuesday that it will soon unveil a line of electric bikes that are set to be released in 2016.

The unveiling will take place at the American International Motorcycle Expo, which will be held from Oct. 15-18 in Orlando, Fla., according to KATV.com. Specifics about features of the upcoming line have yet to be revealed.

"In addition to great features, we have some new things in store that are the direct result of customer feedback," said Scott Harden, VP of Global Marketing at Zero. "After a record year in 2015, there is no doubt that we will bring many new riders on board in 2016."

Zero is currently the leading developer of electric motorcycles, with 2015 models including the Zero S, Zero SR, Zero DS and Zero FX. Competitors include Harley-Davidson with its Livewire electric bike and Yamaha with its PES1 and PED1, which will be available next year as well.

The company will provide an exclusive presentation on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 2:30 p.m. EDT in the AIMExpo Media Hub, KATV.com reported. Motorcycles dealers and enthusiasts can check the motorcycles out at AIMExpo booth #1249 and take part in demo rides at "AIMExpo Outdoors!" from Oct. 17-18.
