Amidst the tragedy in Charleston, S.C., Warner Bros. has decided to stop licensing toys featuring the Confederate flag, including the famous Dodge Charger dubbed "The General Lee" from the hit T.V. series "The Dukes of Hazzard."

"Warner Bros. Consumer Products has one licensee producing die-cast replicas and vehicle model kits featuring the General Lee with the Confederate flag on its roof - as it was seen in the TV series," a spokesperson said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. "We have elected to cease the licensing of these product categories."

Warner Bros. is not the first to discontinue products containing the Confederate flag. Amazon, eBay and Walmart have all stated that they will not be selling merchandise containing the logo of the Confederacy.

Former Democratic congressman Ben Jones, who just so happened to play Cooter on "The Dukes Of Hazzard" TV series, called the removal of the flag from the infamous car "elitist" and "narrow-minded," according to Breitbart News.

In order to "foster racial unity and tolerance," Annin Flagmakers and Eder Flag Manufacturing will not be producing or selling the flag, according to Market Watch. In recent days, Alabama has removed four Confederate flags from a memorial at the state capitol, by order of Governor Robert Bentley, Breitbart News reports.
