Teenage Driver Unharmed After British Tank Flattens Her Car (PHOTOS)

A teenage driver in Germany took a wrong turn she'll never forget on Monday after her car was crushed by a military tank.

The unidentified 18-year-old, who was unharmed during the incident, somehow ended up driving into the path of a convoy of tanks heading down Panzerringstrasse.

For those who don't speak German, that means "Tank Ring Street."

"The street was built for heavy military vehicles near a large training facility," police spokesman Lars Ridderbusch said to NBC News. "The street is known among locals as a shortcut."

Two British army bases are located near the street and the area is commonly used for military training for the German army and its allies.

The British Challenger tank driver was not able to see the teen in time to stop and ended up flattening the hood of her Toyota hatchback.

The soldier has since been cleared of any blame by local police since he "had no chance to slow down," according to The Telegraph.

The damage is expected to set the driver back a cool 12,000 Euros (13,359) but hey, at least she's okay.
