Last week we found out that FCA U.S. was reviving the Dodge Viper ACR to make its "fastest street-legal Viper track car" ever and now we know how much it will cost.
The 2016 Viper ACR received a $117,895 price tag this week, making it the highest priced Viper, according to FCA.
"Bringing our street-legal Dodge Viper ACR back is going to arm our track enthusiasts with the ultimate weapon to dominate road courses across the country," Dodge and SRT brands President and CEO Tim Kuniskis said in a company statement.
The manufacturer's suggested retail price in the states excludes a gas-guzzler tax and delivery charge.
In comparison, the Viper GTS starts at $107,995, the Viper GT sells for about $94,995 and the base SRT goes for $84,895.
FCA previously confirmed that the ACR would feature a 645-hp 8.4-liter V10 OHV engine, a top speed of 177 mph, "race-tuned" suspension and 2,000 pounds of downforce.
"This is without a doubt the best Viper ACR ever," said Kuniskis. "The latest in aerodynamic, braking and tire technology will ensure its legendary performance reputation around the world."
Buyers can also create the exact Viper that they want thanks to Dodge's "1 of 1" customization program.
FCA opened orders for the 2016 Viper ACR on Tuesday and production will start during the third quarter at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit.
The ride will reach dealerships this fall, according to FCA.
