Nico Rosberg Wins Chinese Grand Prix

Nico Rosberg, a Mercedes Formula One driver, won the Grand Prix on Sunday in China and joined the accomplishment that his father made.

Rosberg, 26, is now the third son racer who has a winning father, joining the Hill's and Villeneuve's. Graham Hill won world championships in 1962 and 1968 and had total of 14 wins. Graham's son Damon won the 1996 title and had total of 22 wins. Damon's first win was in 1993. Gilles Villeneuve won six races before he died in 1982, and Jacques Villeneuve made his first win in 1996 with total of 11 wins before retiring in 2006. Nico's father Keke Rosberg won for the first time in 1982 title with Williams.

"It's amazing to have it," said Rosberg in a video blog on the team's website.

"It's been a long time waiting and Niki Lauda said that the first win is the most difficult. After that it gets easier. So if that's the way it goes that would be fantastic."

Nikki Lauda is a three-time world champion.

Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton came in second and third at the Sunday's race.
