Nissan released the sixth chapter of its 2016 Titan "Truckumentary" series this week called "Diesel Goodness" which gives fans a sneak peek at the truck's Cummins diesel engine.

The new 5.0-liter DOHC V8 engine option will only be available for the Titan XD and delivers 310 horses and 555 lb.-ft. of torque, according to Nissan.

"It's really one of a kind," said Steve Sanders, Cummins marketing manager, in the video. "You can't pick out another product from an engine or a truck to compare this too. There are lots of people out there that think they know what's coming and they have no idea."

The 2016 Nissan Titan reaches dealerships this fall though pricing has not been revealed yet.
