2015 Ford Edge design detail

We were really impressed by the changes in styling on the second-generation Ford Edge, which retains a familiar shape that has been softened for stylish effect.

Just above the beltline, at the corner where the tail lights wrap around the side and rear of the Edge, is corner styling quite nicely executed. Think of it as a Fusion crossover SUV—which it basically is—and the icy lights make a lot of sense. A quick kick under the tailgate will open it automatically, if the key is detected on your person.

To our tired eyes in the Arizona desert, it was a cool drink of water. And in dark colors, the light and dark contrast makes a lot of sense.
