NASCAR's Danica Patrick will have to find a new sponsor at the end of the 2015 season as GoDaddy has announced it will drop its sponsorship of her car at Stewart-Haas Racing, according to Reuters.

The news comes at a bad time for Patrick as she is also looking to reach a new deal with SHR after switching to NASCAR full-time from IndyCar.

"NASCAR has been a tremendous domestic platform but at this stage, we need a range of marketing assets that reach a more globally-diverse set of customers," GoDaddy Chief Marketing Officer Phil Bienert said in a statement to Reuters.

GoDaddy doesn't dislike Danica or anything, they just want to get out of NASCAR. The internet domain name service is trying to keep the popular driver on as a spokeswoman under a personal services agreement.

"We love Danica and all she does to empower and inspire people, especially women, which is why we are working to keep her in the GoDaddy family," Bienert said.

GoDaddy has sponsored Patrick since the 2007 IndyCar season and helped her make the switch to NASCAR full-time as her primary sponsor.

Patrick has been featured in a number of GoDaddy's commercials, including this one that debuted during the 2014 Super Bowl.

"GoDaddy has been an incredible partner for a very long time, almost nine years, and as I've said before, our brands have really grown up together," said Patrick, according to Reuters. "I'm excited to work with GoDaddy on a personal level moving forward, but will miss having their bright green color on my racecar next year."

Patrick, who is currently in the middle of her best season since switching to NASCAR, has two top-10 finishes in 2015 and ranks 16th in overall points.
