Movie fans would remember Paul Newman for his roles in classics like "Cool Hand Luke" and "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." Others knew "King Cool" for his charitable work with "Hole in the Wall Gang Camp" and "Newman's Own."

What you might not know is that he had a passion for racing and it almost ended his career on the big screen, according to ComingSoon.net.

Newman quietly won four national championships as a driver and eight as an owner. Oh by the way, he didn't start his racing career until he was 47, an age where most drivers are reaching the finish line of their careers. 

Now, talk show and radio host Adam Carolla and co-director Nate Adams are releasing a documentary about Newman's 35 year racing career called "Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman" and you can view the first trailer below.

A screening of the film will take place on April 16, while a full release has been scheduled to begin on May 22.
