Kia’s Sales Snatched Victory in March

Kia Motors continues its unprecedented momentum to reach new heights in the month of March with an all-time best monthly sales of 57,505.

The sales record of the Korean automaker represents a 30.2 percent increase from March of 2011. As for the year-to-date sales record, 31.8 percent increased from last year.

“Kia has invested heavily in the U.S. market and our record-breaking monthly performance demonstrates how far the brand has come in an extremely short period of time with consumers being drawn at an increasing rate to our unique value formula which includes world-class design, outstanding fuel efficiency, premium features and cutting-edge technologies," said Byung Mo Ahn, group president and CEO.

March marked the first time Kia topping 50,000 units in a single month. Kia’s performance in March is driven by strong demand for the brand’s two popular models Optima and Sorento, as well as the most publicized Soul which is an urban passenger vehicle.
