Subaru Crowned With Record Sales in March

Subaru recorded the best first quarter in the company's history after the March sales recorded, with Impreza and Legacy models breaking the sales record of January and February.

The March sales recorded showed that Subaru sold 32,387 vehicles, which is a 20.33 percent increase from the same month of previous year. The company also reported the year-to-year sales of 80,568, which is a 19 percent gain compared to 2011.

“We are very pleased to be able to continue our recent sales momentum into 2012. We are well on our way to making 2012 our fourth consecutive record year," said Thomas J Doll, executive vice president and COO of Subaru Inc.

The all-new Impreza saw an increase of 214 percent in March and recorded the best months in its history. Legacy also posts its best sales at 20.99 percent.
