‘Price is Right’ Assistant Accidentally Gives Away a $21,960 Car

An excited contestant won a brand new car this week on the show "The Price is Right" when a game show assistant accidentally revealed the winning selection.

The contestant, identified on the show as Andrea, incorrectly priced a brand-new Hyundai Sonata for her first guess, meaning she had two more guesses to win the vehicle.

Only problem is six-year "Price" veteran assistant Manuela Arbelaez inadvertently revealed the correct answer before Andrea could respond again.

"Congratulations, Manuela just gave you a car!" show host Drew Carey announced after the mistake to the contestant.

Arbelaez called her blunder the biggest mistake ever in the history of "The Price is Right," which premiered back in 1972, according to IMDB.

"I'm a perfectionist. I'm very hard on myself. I do things right," she said to the NY Daily News. "I've never made a mistake in those six years. And of course the one mistake I make, it's the biggest mistake in 'Price is Right' history."

The model reassured fans of the show on Twitter that producers and Carey himself "couldn't have been more supportive and understanding."

Arbelaez also joked in a tweet that she now knows what it feels like for Oprah to give away new cars.

It's been a big week for the popular mid-day game show. Former host Bob Barker returned on Wednesday for a special apperance on the show he helped put on the map.

Carey took over for the now 91-year-old back in 2007.
