Apple Car Concept Images Resemble a Tesla (PHOTOS)

There's been a lot of discussion lately about a possible Apple electric car, but so far no one from the Cupertino-based company has come forward to confirm anything.

Despite its efforts to keep all plans under wraps, multiple reports of Apple poaching engineers from other companies have been confirmed so we know Apple is planning some sort of iCar. But what will it look like?

Car Wow decided to keep electric-car fans guessing by releasing its own iCar renderings.

The renderings include a mock keynote speech and presentation complete with Apple CEO Tim Cook.

As you can see in the pictures, the iCar features a Tesla-inspired appearance with no grille and iPhone-white finish.

Car Wow believes access to the Apple Car could come in the form of a finger-print-reading home button on the driver or front-passenger door. The vehicle can be unlocked from the inside by swiping your finger left to right, just like people do now when using an iPhone. Wouldn't that be fun?

Placing your iPhone into the vehicle's center console loads a large display on the dashboard for users to access apps, live videos and music.

Another display can be found near the bottom of the windscreen as well which lets users interact with Siri, according to the Car Wow renderings.

So what powers this mock Apple car? Only the largest batteries in the world to achieve more than 300 miles to a charge so buyers don't have to worry during long commutes. The mock vehicle can achieve 250-horsepower, comes in 3 different colors and recharges in about 4 hours.

Bloomberg reported last month that Apple is hoping to release an electric car by 2020 to compete with Tesla's highly-anticipated EVs. If the iCar looks anything like the renderings above Tesla might be in trouble.
