The BBC announced this week that popular "Top Gear" host Jeremy Clarkson would not return to the program after finding out he physically attacked a producer.

"It is with great regret that I have told Jeremy Clarkson today that the BBC will not be renewing his contract," said BBC director-general Tony Hall, according to BBC News. "For me a line has been crossed. There cannot be one rule for one and one rule for another dictated either by rank or public relations and commercial considerations."

Toyota U.K. decided to release a tribute video highlighting Clarkson's time with the show by releasing a video called "Jeremy's Best Bits" on YouTube.

Over the course of his 25 year career as Top Gear host, Clarkson usually had negative things to say about cars made by the Japanese automaker. He once compared a Corolla to a refrigerator and intentionally crashed a Yaris hatchback but his relationship with the Hilux truck is one that no Top Gear fan will forget.

"Thanks for everything Jeremy. It has been smashing," said Toyota U.K. in the comments section of the video.

So far the video has collected more than 275,000 views since being uploaded on March 25.

An internal investigation into a "fracas" found that Clarkson verbally abused show producer Oisin Tymon for more than 20 minutes before physically assaulting him.

Guinness World Records recognized Top Gear as the most-watched factual show of all time, with episodes broadcast in more than 200 countries and territories, according to CNN.

The show brought in more than $225 million in revenue last year for BBC Worldwide.
