Ford Motor has teamed with Tonka for a fully functional, diesel-powered F-750 dump truck, on display now at the National Equipment Association Work Truck show in Indianapolis.

The nearly 10-foot-tall dump truck is painted in Tonka's signature yellow with a custom blackout nostril grille and functional dump body designed by Truck Tech Engineers.

The truck is powered by a 6.7-liter diesel V-8 rated up to 330 horsepower, 725 lb.-ft. of torque.

"The people at Geneva (Motor Show this week) will wish they were here instead," said Ford's chief truck spokesman, Mike Levine, according to USA Today.

Don't get your hopes up too much though. The 7-50 dump truck is a promotional vehicle only, created to draw attention to Ford's new 2016 F-650 and F-750s, which will be available this summer.

Ford recently moved production of its F-series vehicles out of Mexico to Avon Lake, Ohio. Avon Lake made E-series vans, most of which have been discontinued.

The truck, which is a collaboration between Ford and the Funrise Toy Corporation, will be on display at major work truck, commercial and vocational trade shows through the end of the year however.

"From Generation Z to the Greatest Generation, Ford and Tonka continue to set the standards for tough trucks," said John Ruppert, general manager, Ford Commercial Vehicle Sales and Marketing. "People of all ages have been counting on Ford F-Series and TONKA trucks to get the job done, from construction site to sandbox, for more than 60 years."

The Tonka truck carries a vehicle weight rating of 33,000 pounds on a 158-inch wheelbase, according to the Detroit automaker.

The dump body is capable of hauling up to 17,000 pounds "to support the construction needs of almost any imagination."

The National Equipment Association Work Truck show is open to the public now through March 6.
