Volvo Receives Endorsement from NBA Star Jeremy Lin

Volvo, who is focusing on the U.S., China, and Chinese-language market in Asia, received endorsement from the NBA sensation Jeremy Lin who signed a two-year contract with the carmaker.

Accepting the endorsement deal, Lin says he is happy to endorse the brand which is now a Chinese enterprise. For the next two years, Jeremy Lin will associate his name with the Volvo in promoting, marketing and advertising the brand.

The endorsement deal is one of the major one for the 23-year-old NBA superstar and a former bench warmer who rose to fame after performing blockbuster game which helped Knicks to seven straight wins in February. Lin has taken US basketball by his performance and still managed to attract a devoted following of Chinese community.

In the mean time, Volvo's vice president of global marketing Richard Monturo addresses a press conference in Taipei that Lin was offered the role of brand ambassador for Volvo because the two stand for dedication, innovation and power.
