Mercedes-Benz is all set to reveal the world of its stylish Concept Style Coupe (CLC) at art, music, film and food festival titled “Transmission LA: Audio Visual Club curated by Mike D” that is to be held in Los Angeles. The 17 day art festival will commence from April 20 to May 6 to be flocked by thousands of ardent fans of auto world.
In a press release, the German automaker states that the festival will have the artistic staging of the Mercedes-Benz CLC. Experts are under impression that the stage would definitely showcase the best of its upcoming concept model which would be a four-door coupe for inspiration.
The exhibition has been organized by The Avant/Garde Diaries, a global interview magazine, the festival will serve as a platform for an exciting array of installations and exhibitions showcasing the innovative aspects of visionary artists in the fields of music, food, film, fashion and art. Mike D, the pioneers of hip hop music genre, of Beastie Boy will curate the colorful exhibition at the Geffen Contemporary in Downtown Los Angeles. The festival will also feature exhibitions, concerts, DJ nights, live performances and art installations of various artists all projected to show how audio-visual art forms can be presented at one platform and witnessing a unique creativity. The exhibition is a sequel held in Berlin last year. Entry to exhibition is free, although parking in downtown may be costly.
The announcement of festival timing has raised some questions as well, as the company announced the LA debut after a rumor about the New York Auto Show sprouted. Since the show in NY is to kick off on April 14 which happens about a week before the LA event, Mercedes is hinting that the CLC will not be in NY. If the dream baby concept project of CLC model is indeed to uncover in Los Angeles, then what would be the Benz’s savior model for New York Auto Show?
