Ford announced today, with new photos, that the new passenger van Tourneo Custom will be presented in April at the Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Show in England and hit the European market later this year.

“The bold new Tourneo Custom signals the start of a revolution in Ford’s commercial vehicle range,” said Ford of Europe Chairman and CEO Stephen Odell.

“It’s a fantastic-looking people mover – inside and out – and offers outstanding day-to-day, real world practicality as well as being great to drive.”

The Tourneo is the first of the automaker’s Transit series and has a car-like dynamics. The company is developing a separate Transit for the American market, thus Tourneo will not be seen in state.

Following slides will have photos of the new Tourneo, some released by Ford today and some from the Geneva Motor Show.
