Audi took the honor of receiving three 2012 Total Cost of Ownership Awards for luxury brand from Kelley Blue Book, including Best Luxury Brand overall, at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.

The awards are based on the total amount of costs to own for the initial five years, including finance, insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, fuel costs, depreciation, and state fees. Audi received recognition for efficient gas mileage and low depreciation, winning this year’s award among luxury brands.

The German automaker snatched two more awards, with its 2012 Audi A5 winning the “Luxury Car” category and 2012 Audi Q7 winning the “Luxury Sport Utility” category.
