Audi released a video this weekend teasing one of the many advanced amenities customers will find inside its upcoming 2016 Q7 model: rear seat tablets.

Customers can now spec up to two 10.1-inch Audi tablets behind the front seats, according to the Audi video. Each tablet is an Android-based device powered by Nvidia Tegra 4, which hooks up to the car's navigation plus system.

The automaker says that the tablets are easy to use, allowing occupants to do a number of online activities in a speedy fashion.

Wi-Fi accessibility allows for rear-seat access to radio, car functions and media. Google Play Store will support any apps owners wish to download.

Audi tablets can be removed from its mount and used like a normal touchscreen device outside the vehicle, according to the video. It's equipped with 32GB of internal storage, NFC and Bluetooth support and a full HD camera to allow rear passengers to take and images during a road trip.

Rear seat occupants of the Audi Q7 will also have access to navigation features, which will allow them to find directions during a trip so the driver doesn't have to figure it out while trying to pay attention to the road at the same time.

Each tablet has been engineered for automotive use, which means the device is temperature-resistant and is safe if a crash were to occur, which is not the case for normal tablets or aftermarket mounts.
