Think you've spotted Santa driving his sleigh this Christmas in the night skies?

Look again: It might just be the International Space Station, which will be visible throughout the winter.

So says NASA, which announced via Facebook that the average eye will be able to see the mobile satellite. Using the Spot the Station alert system, you can also sign up for updates when the International Space Station—the third-brightest sight in the sky, comparable to planets with shadows and the sun and moon—will be hovering within eye-shot. 

Reindeer, take heed: That $150 billion space station won't easily move out of your way.
