Somehow the internet didn't break after Kim Kardashian's revealing butt-shot for her Paper Magazine cover was released earlier this week, but the photo did cause a couple of automakers to go on the defense.
Nissan's social media team had a funny response to the controversial cover by posting a picture of the rear end of a 2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO with a clever caption.
The automaker may have a point, since the 2015 GT-R Nismo is considered by many to be the best ever.
The vehicle has a 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine under its hood, which is capable of producing 600 HP and 481 lb-ft of torque. This is all sent to an all-wheel drive system through a six-speed sequential transmission, according to Nissan.
The 2015 GT-R Nismo has also been clocked going 0-60 in less than three seconds as well. This isn't the first time Nissan has been involved in a celebrity controversy.
Nissan stepped in when Canadian DJ Deadmau5 received a cease-and-desist letter from Ferrari last weekend demanding he remove the Nyan Cat theme off of his Ferrari 458 Spider due to logo infringements.
The automaker released a photo of a Nyan Cat GT-R, offering the "Ghost N Stuff" artist a replacement for his "Purrari."
Nissan isn't the only automaker to respond to the Paper Magazine cover however.
On Wednesday, Mercedes-Benz released its own response to Kim's internet breaking-attempt.
We'll let you to be the judge between the three.
