Volvo unveiled a limited edition vehicle this week during the Miami International Auto Show that pays tribute to the men and women racing around the world in the Volvo Ocean Race.
The Volvo Ocean Race XC60 was designed to include distinctive elements like an "Ocean Blue II" exterior color and features black or blonde leather interior with orange stitching and 18-inch wheels.
Named after the Volvo Ocean Race, which Volvo recently called "one of the world's most grueling adventures," the X60 was created to "embody the soul of human challenge," according to a company release.
The 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race started in Alicante, Spain on October 4, 2014. In order to reach the finish in Gothenburg, Sweden in June 2015, 66 of the world's top sailors will race 38,739 nautical miles around the world, according to the automaker.
The seven teams will cross four oceans and stop in 11 countries in five continents. The race is scheduled to reach Newport, Rhode Island May 5-9, 2015, the only U.S. stop on the journey, with the in-port race on May 16.
The seventh leg will start the following day on May 17, 2015.
Two different powertrain options are available as well: the T6 AWD, powered by a 300-hp turbocharged straight-six and the T6 Drive-E with a 302-hp super- and turbocharged four, according to the release.

Volvo said Ocean Race XC60 T6 Drive-E and T6 AWD start at $42,100 and $43,600 respectively.
