A 16-year-old girl from the U.K. reportedly scored a 161 on her IQ test recently, higher than Bill Gates and even Albert Einstein ever scored according to
Lauren Marbe said she is proud of her score, especially because it goes against the standard associated with being a blonde female.
"My teachers knew I was quite clever because of my grades but they had always thought I was blonde and a bit ditzy," said Marbe to SWNS. "Now they keep saying 'I didn't realize you were that clever'."
Not only is Marbe clever, her score is up there with the greatest minds ever, as even Professor Stephen Hawking doesn't have an IQ of 160 or higher according to MSN.com.
Marbe is studying at Roding Valley High School in Loughton, Essex where she is a straight A student according to the report. She has dreams of breaking into the entertainment business, but if she does go to college she'll be studying architecture at the University of Cambridge.
In her spare time, Marbe likes to sing and even performed in the West End for two years as part of the chorus for Andrew Lloyd Webber's play "Joseph" according to UPI.com.
Her parents stated in the interview they'll support their daughter no matter what direction she chooses, and they take pride in the fact that she may be able to end the "blondes are dumb" reputation.
"People think all girls are blonde and all girls are dim," said Marbe's parents to SWNS. "Lauren is blonde but it does seem like she has shaken the stereotype that all Essex girls are stupid. Essex girls are all well groomed and Lauren isn't any different."
The IQ test is designed to test a range of abilities to determine the level of intelligence of a student. In the UK, the average score is around 100 according to SWNS.
